Everybody needs sleep, especially single parents

Sleep is essential to health, and so for seven or eight hours per day we go into a profoundly different state, a system shutdown. Go without proper sleep, have your sleep affected, or worse still miss a night’s sleep and you’re sure to turn into a lesser version of yourself. But how much do we really know about sleep, why do we need it and what happens while we have our nightly shuteye?
